M.Sc. Computer Science with specialization in Data Analytics
This program is designed to develop job-relevant data analytics skills through an industry-oriented curriculum. It covers courses from the fundamentals of computer science and machine learning to advanced topics like Generative AI, Big Data Analytics, and MLOps, all with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience. The skills gained from this Master's program prepare students to excel in various data science roles and effectively manage every stage of a data science project.
The curriculum is carefully designed around experiential learning, with all courses featuring labs or projects. Students complete mini-projects in the second and third semesters, followed by an industry internship in the final semester. The Digital Access for Community Empowerment (DACE) program allows students to engage with communities facing real-world challenges, providing digital solutions. The Earn While You Learn program allows students to earn by contributing to development projects at DUK. This experiential learning approach enhances their practical knowledge and prepares them to work on real-life projects.
Candidates must possess either a 3-year or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Mathematics, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects, and a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent). Relaxation in marks will be provided for reserved categories as per University norms.
Applicants for Master of Science (MSc) MSc in Computer Science with Specialization in Data Analytics program must take one of the following entrance exams:
Common University Entrance Test (CUET(PG)-2025)- SCQP09, SCQP27, SCQP19, SCQP24 conducted by NTA for admission to various postgraduate programs

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year/ semester examination may also apply for the PG Programmes provided that they satisfy the following two conditions.
Selected candidates are expected to submit all the original documents of mark lists, degree/ provisional degree certificates, migration certificate, etc. within a date specified by the University. If a candidate fails to submit the original certificates as proof of their eligibility by this date, the candidate may be asked to discontinue the program.
