Prof Ajith Kumar received the award along with Dr. P.V. Unnikrishnan, Member secretary, K-DISC and Mr. Riyas PM Manager, Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission for developing the futuristic Digital Workforce Management System (DWMS).
DWMS is a cutting-edge digital platform created by Digital University Kerala (DUK) for the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission initiative that links all stakeholders in building a knowledge-based ecosystem. DWMS is envisioned as a platform of platforms with multi-layered architecture with many features, including profile curation, AI-based job matching and skill assessment, robotic interview, career assessments, skill training, e-learning, career guidance and counseling, personality development, English Language Assessment, etc. All these capabilities were combined into “DWMS Connect,” a distinctive mobile application created and implemented by DUK. We implemented this digital solution in record time despite a high level of technical complexity and integration. With almost a million downloads, the app has signed up 12.8 lakh job seekers in the state.
