Dr Shweta Srivastava is an Applied mathematician with interests in Partial differential equations and its application in Computational fluid dynamics. Her work mainly focuses on Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Finite Element method, Stabilization techniques, Viscoelastic Fluids, Fractional PDEs, Bio-Mathematics, Fluid Structure Interaction. She completed her BSc in Mathematics from  Kamla Nehru Institute of Physical and Social Sciences, KNIPSS Uttar Pradesh. She obtained her Master’s from IIT Guwahati in Mathematics & Computing. She has earned her PhD in Applied Mathematics from IISc Bangalore.

She has around 5 years of experience, which includes her association with SRM-University-AP, Instituto de Matematica y Ciencias Afines IMCA and, PUCP Lima Peru. Prior to joining Digital University Kerala (DUK), She has worked as an Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh.  She was a postdoctoral researcher at Instituto de Matematica y Ciencias Afines (IMCA) Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, (UNI) Lima, Peru. She has also served Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Lima, Peru as a Guest Professor.
