Dr. Muthusankar Eswaran is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electronic Systems and Automation, at Digital University Kerala (Former IIITM-Kerala), India. Prior to joining DUK, he was with the Department of Biological Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. He also worked as Research Officer at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu in the Central Instrument Facility (CIF). He received B.E. and M.Tech. from Anna University Chennai, and Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a specialization in Nanoelectronic sensor devices for healthcare diagnostics applications from the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, India, respectively. His area of expertise includes flexible, wearable nanoelectronics, nanotechnology, advanced nanomaterials/composites-based FET and electrochemical sensors/biosensors, and Energy storage & conversion devices (supercapacitors and fuel cells). His current research focuses on the fabrication of fully integrated self-powered nanoelectronic sensor devices for highly sensitive healthcare diagnostics, and environmental monitoring.
