Pradeep Kumar Kalampukatt teaches Project Management, Strategic Management and Design Thinking and Innovation for Master’s level programs. His primary research interests are project management, linking projects with organizational strategy and Innovation. He submitted his PhD thesis on “Project Portfolio Management- A Dynamic Capabilities Perspective” as part of the Doctoral Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai. He currently serves as the coordinator of the Centre for Digital Transformation & Innovation (CDTI), Social Engagement Centre (SEC), and the Chair- Alumni Affairs.
Pradeep is a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship awarded by the European Union for pursuing his Master’s Degree in Strategic Project Management. He has been associated with significant projects using technology for higher education and e-Governance. Before joining academics, he worked as Assistant Director with the National Productivity Council, Dept. of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India at New Delhi for eight years.
He completed his Bachelor of Technology from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, University of Calicut. Pradeep holds and maintains the Certified Project Management Professional (R) credential from Project Management Institute, USA, from 2005. He was a member of the Board of Directors of PMI Kerala Chapter for five years. He has a certificate in Project Management from the Dept of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from KPMG.
