Management, Innovation, Technology, and Organizational Development: Extensive practical, consulting, teaching and research experience in strategy formulation, planning, and implementation, innovation, management, and organizational development. Played leadership role in developing the plan and strategy for Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram (1990-2000) and promoting the park nationally and internationally. During 2001-2007, performed strategic consulting for several organisations and during 2017-2015, taught strategy, operations and innovation at Masters-level programs at Asian School of Business, Thiruvananthapuram (full time position as Professor / Dean), Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Kerala (IIITMK), and Amrita School of Business. Held executive committee member / director – level positions in organisations like Electronics Research & Development Centre (now CDAC – Trivandrum), Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Kerala State Industrial Enterprises Ltd., and International Association of Science Parks. Also functioned in leadership positions in national and international professional, industry, and management bodies like the IEEE.

Government policy formulation: Played a key role in drafting the first Information Technology (IT) policy of the Government of Kerala in 1998. This policy has played an important role in propelling the growth of information technology in Kerala by creating necessary institutions and structures. As part of the policy, a High Powered Committee for Information Technology and e-Governance, chaired by the Chief Minister of Kerala, was constituted in 1998 and was a member of this committee during 1998 – 2000.
