Assistant Professor

Dr. Elangovan K is an Assistant Professor in the school of Electronic Systems and Automation, Digital University Kerala. He received the M. E degree in control and instrumentation from the College of Engineering, Anna University, Guindy, India, in 2016 and the Ph.D. degree in Avionics from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, in 2022. He worked as a Research Associate at the Department of Avionics, IIST, from Aug. 2022 to Feb. 2023 and as Principal Project Scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi from April 2023 to June 2023.

  • Selected for Global Distinguished Young Scientists Awards in IEEE IAS GlobconHT 2023.
  • Third position in Best Thesis Award at IEEE ONCON conference by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.
  • Recipient of Student Travel Award for the paper titled “A Digital Signal-Conditioner for Resistive Sensors and its Utility for Linearizing GMR-based Magnetometer” at Sensors Applications Symposium (SAS), held in Malaysia, May 2020.
