Assistant Professor

Dr. Athira K is an Assistant Professor at the School of Informatics (SoI), Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (KUDSIT), Technocity Campus, Trivandrum, Kerala India. She received her Ph.D. degree in Ecological Informatics from Cochin Univesity of Science and Technology (CUSAT) with Kerala State Biodiversity Board Doctoral Fellowship. Before joining for Ph.D., she completed her MPhil degree from CUSAT and worked as a project intern at Forestry and Ecology Group, National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO, Hyderabad. Her research interests are in the areas of Floral radiometry, Hyperspectral and multispectral remote sensing, biodiversity, and bioinformatics.
