A proud moment for Digital University Kerala. DUK won the National Award for e-Governance for the AI-based Lucky Bill App developed for the Kerala GST Department that ensures tax compliance apart from promoting transparency in financial transactions. Digital University Kerala Vice Chancellor Dr. Saji Gopinath along with the faculty members -Prof Manoj Kumar TK and Prof Sanil P Nair – who were part of the team that developed the app received the award on Friday at the 26th National Conference on e-Governance held in Indore. DUK won the Silver Award in the category “Research on Citizen Centric Services by Academic/ Research Institutions”. Dr. Manoj Kumar TK, DUK is the Project Coordinator, and Prof. Sanil P Nair, DUK is the Principal Coordinator of the project in which Sreejith G and Amal KJ are the team leads. The domain experts for the app development team are Shahul Hammed and Mansur from the State GST department.
