Knowledge Center is a facility dedicated to providing advanced resources and services to students, faculty, and staff. It plays a vital role in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities by offering easy access to high-quality academic and educational resources.
The Center fosters intellectual growth and promotes a culture of inquiry and innovation among the University community. Through its modern infrastructure and diverse resources, it creates an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and academic excellence.
The NewGen Learning Space and Reading Space are thoughtfully designed, well-equipped areas that enhance the overall learning experience for both students and faculty. These spaces provide a comfortable and technology-enabled environment that supports collaborative learning, focused study, and academic engagement.

1. Acquisition of Publications
Regularly acquires books, journals, and other scholarly materials to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of the University community.
2. Access to e-Resources
Students and faculty can access a wide range of digital resources such as e-journals, e-books, and databases from anywhere within the campus network.
3. Web OPAC
The Web Online Public Access Catalogue allows users to search the library catalogue online to check the availability and location of books and other resources.
4. Normal Circulation Service
This service enables users to borrow and return books and other materials according to the library’s circulation policies.
5. Inter-Institutional Resource Sharing
The Knowledge Centre collaborates with other institutions to provide access to additional resources that may not be available within the Knowledge Centre.
6. Photocopying and Scanning
Photocopying and scanning facilities are available to help users reproduce required sections of books, articles, and other academic materials for study and research purposes.
7. Reference and Referral Service
Library staff assist users in locating information and guide them to appropriate resources or external libraries when specialized materials are required.
8. Scholarly Publishing Guidance
Provides guidance and support to researchers and students in the scholarly publishing process, including selecting suitable journals, understanding publication ethics, and navigating the submission process.
9. Scholarly Metric Support
Support is provided for research evaluation through various bibliometric and altmetric tools. The service helps researchers understand citation metrics, journal impact indicators, and other research performance measures.
10. Information Support for Assignments, Academic and R and D Projects

11. Similarity/ Plagiarism Check
Provides similarity and plagiarism checking services for student assignments, project reports, dissertations, and research documents. Using advanced plagiarism detection tools, the service helps ensure academic integrity and originality in submitted work. (plagcheck@duk.ac.in)
12. Net-enabled Access Stations @Learning Space
The Net-Enabled Access Stations at the Learning Space provide students and faculty with dedicated computer terminals connected to high-speed internet.
