Sanil P Nair is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Digital University Kerala. He has been working in the areas of programming distributed systems, product and service-oriented systems, component-based systems, adaptive and cloude based systems, operational and analytical data systems, geo spatial data analysis and adaptive web services. He has over 11 years of industry experience and he designed and implemented more than 25 ICT enabled real-time projects for Netherlands, Finland, UK and US governments and also done set of projects for Govt. of India and State departments. He has received several awards and recognitions for the quality and the stability of design and implementation of complex real-time systems.

- Direct Trainer Skill (DTS) from the National Level Training Program by Thames Valley University, and Slough, UK in association with the Government of India.
- Design of Training (DOT) from the National Level Training Program by Thames Valley University, and Slough, UK in association with the Government of India.
- Before starting as an Assistant Professor of Practice at IIITM-K, he worked at Infosys as a Technology Lead. And prior to that, he served as Configuration Manager and Technology lead in engineering and product development at ARS T&TT, Netherlands and has taken part in the CMMi appraisal of the Organization in the capacity of Configuration Manager.
