Preetam Mukherjee received his ME and PhD degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He is currently an Assistant Professor (Cyber Security) at Digital University Kerala, India, where he also previously served as the Chair, School of Computer Science and Engineering. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Division of Network and Systems Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He has also held positions at SRIC, IIT Kharagpur, India, and at the Centre for Distributed Computing, Jadavpur University. His research interests include network security, risk analysis, attack modeling, and security policies. He has served as an investigator for cyber security R&D projects funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
