Md. Meraj Uddin is an Assistant Professor at Digital University Kerala with nearly 23 years of experience in teaching, research, and program management, primarily at Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management–Kerala and Digital University Kerala. His work focuses on cybersecurity, information security auditing, and e-Governance.

He has been instrumental in establishing the Kerala Security Audit and Assurance Center (KSAAC) at DUK, which provides security auditing, vulnerability assessment, consulting, training, research, and certification services to government departments, organizations, academia, and industry. Under his leadership, Digital University Kerala was recently empanelled by Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, Government of India, as an Information Security Auditing Organization. This distinction makes Digital University Kerala the first university in India to receive CERT-In empanelment, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the State’s cybersecurity ecosystem and institutional capacity for information security assurance.
