Pioneered the fields of Ecological Informatics and Environmental Data Science by establishing India’s first MSc Environmental Science program with this specialisation, thereby redefining environmental education in the region. Initiated the scientific domain of Floral Radiometry by integrating hyperspectral remote sensing, colour science, and plant science. Works on Floral Radiometry have garnered international attention and fostered active collaborations with global universities.

A passionate advocate for sunrise academic disciplines such as Development Informatics and Digital Geography, aimed at equipping future generations with the skills needed for a sustainable and technologically integrated world. Conceptualised the Nalanda Model of Rural Development, a holistic and coupled framework that concurrently uplifts struggling urban women and their rural counterparts.

Trained in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science, bringing a unique blend of scientific rigour and policy insight to the fields of environmental governance and education.
