Phase pre-processing in MRI and Quantitative susceptibility mapping.

I joined the Medical Imaging Computing and Signal processing group in IIITMK on 2014 as a PhD scholar. I registered my PhD in Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science & Technology with joint collaboration with Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management-Kerala. The research focus is on Enhancement and restoration of susceptibility related features in parallel MRI with thesis entitled An investigation of enhancement and restoration of susceptibility based features in autocalibrating type acquisition of susceptibility-weighted parallel MRI. After completing my PhD I joined here as a post doctoral research associate at IIITMK in an SERB project entitled Application of complex exponential signal models for identification of obscure paramagnetic regions in gradient echo magnetic resonance images. In this position I was more involved in fundamental simulations and phantom experiments to address existing issues and improve the accuracy of phase processing for robust quantification of susceptibility.
