Post Graduate Diploma in e-Governance (PGDeG) was launched by Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K) and Institute of Management in Governance (IMG) to fulfill its mission to mould leaders in the areas of science, technology and management and to address the Capacity Building in the area of e-Governance. PGDeG was directed at employees of government departments, public sector undertakings and organization’s providing IT services to government bodies.
A total number of 9 batches has been successfully completed. Now IIITM-K has been upgraded to Digital University Kerala and the University has requested the Government to conduct the PGDeG programme under Digital University Kerala. The course certification will be done by Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with working knowledge of computer systems. B.Sc (Computer Science/ IT), BCA, Diploma or Certification in Computer Application will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to B.Tech / MBA / MCA/ MSc. (Computer Science/ IT) degree holders.
Central Government, other State Governments and Private Organizations could sponsor their employees through proper channel directly to Digital University Campus.
Eligible candidates from open category are selected through competitive entrance examination followed by an interview.
All other terms and conditions shall be as per the provisions contained in the G.O. No. IT Cell-2/47/2020-ITD.
