Dr. Sumedha Arora has PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala. Her research interests include cloud computing/Energy Efficiency/Datacenters, Big Data, Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Data Analytics. She was awarded a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India. She received her M.Tech from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the area of Big Data and B.Tech from PTU. She has published a few papers in reputed journals and conferences. She has served as an Assistant Professor at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat and Chandigarh University during her academic career.
